National Gallery Of Modern Art
The blend of traditional and contemporary art the National Gallery Of Modern Art displays makes it quite ahead of its time. The gallery takes pride in that and has been successfully showcasing both types of art since its inauguration in 1954. Here’s a fun fact, then Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru inaugurated the gallery. When you are here, you must not miss the miniature paintings, print photographs, paintings of great Indian artists including Rabindranath Tagore and modern sculptures. The international exhibits here are quite interesting too. Apart from Mondays and national holidays, you can visit the gallery any day between 10 am and 6.30 pm.
