How to reach Valley of Flowers:
Nearest airport: Jolly Grant, Dehradun, 295 kilometers (183 miles) away
Nearest railway station: Rishikesh, 276 kilometers (171 miles) away.
By road: The closest you can get to The Valley of Flowers by road is Govind Ghat, requiring a 11-hour drive to Joshimath from Dehradun, then another one hour to Gobindghat. From Gobindghat it is a 13-kilometer (8.1 miles) trek along a steep, narrow, but well-defined mountain trail to base camp at Ghangaria. This will take between 4 and 8 hours. From Ghangaria, another 3 km trek leads to the valley

Munnar- Kerala

Nearest airport: Cochin, 110 kms or Madurai which is 140 kms
Nearest railway station: Aluva - 110 kms, Ernakulam – 130 kms, Madurai – 135 kms
By road: Regular state-run buses are available from Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Cochin, Wayanad and Madurai. Buses are also available from Bangalore to Munnar taking around 10 to 11 hours. One can also drive to Munnar from Coimbatore covering 150 kms via National Highway route.

Udaipur- Rajasthan

Known as the Venice of the East- Udaipur is touted to be one of the most romantic places and adorns the princely state of Rajasthan in India. It is built around and on the Aravalli hills. Many lakes of the city add to the beauty of the historical city. July to September is when monsoon relieves this city with cool weather from the scorching summer heat making its pristine beauty come even more alive with greenery all around. Enjoy a scenic boat ride in Lake Pichola surrounded by the opulent Taj Palace Udaipur, the heritage palace- Jagmandir and the majestic City Palace. Nearest Railway station: Udaipur Railway station
By road: The well-maintained NH-8 connects Udaipur with Delhi and Mumbai. Both, Mumbai and Delhi are approximately 760 km away from Udaipur and it’s takes around 11 to 12 hours’ drive. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) buses connect Udaipur with places and there are private buses available from Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Kota and many other cities.

Cherrapunjee- Meghalaya

Known as among the wettest places in India and the world too, Cherrapunjee receives an annual rainfall of 11,777 millimeters.
