Although remote working has been a very famous travel trend, it was never everyone's cup of tea. Before the pandemic, it took months of planning and leave approvals to indulge in vacations. Companies preferred their employees to work from the office space and only take leaves instead of working remotely. Freelance contributors and remote workers were the only handful crowd to enjoy the luxury of working remotely. However, following the pandemic, the travel trend has spokes tremendously and is now an option available for everyone. With companies allowing work from home till the COVID-19's impact is controlled, you are eligible to work from any environment that best suits your sensibilities. You are not tied to the corporate rut of working from office for your 9-5 jobs. The future of travel now includes you to work from any remote space which has great views to relish, fresh air to breathe and many vacations to take.
As per a survey conducted by Airbnb, about 83 per cent of people have given their votes to relocating while working with their organisation. Meanwhile, 25 per cent have stated that they are free to work from any part of the world. These numbers prove that people have been considering moving to newer places without worrying about job relocation. Many have even extended their staycation, suggests Airbnb. With many cottages and eclectic properties nestled in the natural environment that is away from the city bustle, remote working is turning into the future of travel and tourism. Evidently, as the impact of the virus reduces, the possibility of companies going completely remote is quite high. In fact, many organisations have already announced that they plan to make remote working or work from home permanent. This further bolsters the new travel trend of working remotely and being paid regularly for the same.
