Amsterdam Itinerary highlights

• Did the free walking tour that began at Dam Square. This is the perfect way to orient yourself with the city and get good traveller tips about places to see and eat local stuff

• A canal tour is a must to explore this city tied to the river Amstel which typically lasts for an hour. You get to see the world's narrowest house as a bonus!

• The Van Gogh museum trip is a must for art lovers. This museum also showcases works of Monet, Mater and Matisse. Want more? Visit Rijksmuseum just by the side.

• A visit to the Anne Frank Huis will be valued by history buffs and those who simply want to appreciate her life and times and know how beautiful and precious your own life is!

• Take an offbeat tour- Visit Zaanse Schans which was an important part of Dutch history, having many windmills which produced freshly milled cinnamon, pepper, linseed oil. Tried the stroopwaffles in the rain with hot chocolate and tried the wooden dutch shoes! The day made for an awesome memoir. You can also take a bike tour around the countryside.

• Enjoyed an authentic Dutch meal at Café Sonneveld, tried the awesome burgers at Burger King which are way too good than the desi version. Also had a hearty egg breakfast at Omelegg and purchased fresh varieties of cheese from the From agerie.
