This is a cenotaph built in Rajasthani style for the great Hindu saint Ved Vyas- the writer of the Mahabharata, an ancient Hindu epic that still holds relevance in modern times. At Vyas Chhatri, there is an assemblage of golden sandstones. Look hard enough, and you may even be able to catch the glimmering Jaisalmer fort in the distance, especially on a pink, desert evening. The Vyas Chhatri was the endpoint of a great man’s journey into the afterlife, and also happens to be one of the most popular tourist attractions in Jaisalmer.
That was our list of Jaisalmer tourist places that a visitor must not miss in 2020! If you are planning to visit Jaisalmer then book your flights, hotels and tours at amazing rates with InterMiles and make your trip memorable, rewarding and #MakeItCount
