The fort is about 4.4 km from the main city of Palakkad but is well-connected with the city centre. You can find plenty of public transport facilities to reach the fort and back to the city. Since there are specific timings to visit the Palakkad Fort, it would be best to plan the trip accordingly. The visitor's timing to check out Palakkad Fort is from 8 AM to 6 PM. They also have a small tariff of INR 15 to enter the fort.
