How to reach Uttarakhand?
The easiest way is obviously by air. The state has two airports, one is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun and the other is Pantnagar airport. These two airports have flights from major cities in India. Now, depending on your Uttarakhand destination, you can land at any of these two airports. In case you want to board a train, you can! Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Rishikesh, Kathgodam, Kotdwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Pauri have railway stations connecting Uttarakhand to the rest of the country!
Now come the roadways! Well, we will very much suggest you go on a road trip to Uttarakhand. Roads surrounded by green trees on both sides, glimpses of the mountain peaks, how beautiful a road trip will be here! You can take the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation-run busses or any private vehicle. Remember, Uttarakhand is connected to other parts of the country via NH 72A, NH 108, NH 109, NH 119, NH 121 and NH 123.
