Guidelines for incoming travellers from Vietnam’s Ministry of Health
Before you start planning your holiday, take a look at the Vietnam entry requirements Covid-19 for a safe and memorable vacation.
• First, let's talk about the Vietnam International flights update! If you are travelling via air, you will have to show a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result taken not more than 72 hours before entering the country. If taken within 24 hours before departure, a negative rapid test result is also applicable.
• There’s no need for children under two years of age to be tested for SARS-CoV-2. However, according to Covid-19 Vietnam travel updates, your child must have never been infected with the virus before entering the country.
• You will have to complete the government-mandated Health Declaration form prior to coming to the airport. You can do it via the Vietnam Health Declaration App.
• And remember to download and use two applications PC-COVID and IGOVN (an application brought by the Ministry of Public Security) during your stay in Vietnam.
The government and citizens have taken careful measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus infection. But since Vietnam open for tourists, travellers must adopt precautionary measures. Also, you must be vigilant about your health at all times.
