The Government of India has eased travel restrictions for domestic air travel within India, for travel effective from Monday, 25th May, 2020. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued detailed guidelines that need to be followed by the passengers before arriving at the airport, at the airport, in-flight and upon reaching the destination. Please go through the detailed guidelines to ensure your well-being and that of the others: Guidelines for air passengers after recommencing of air travel from 25th May, 2020.

All passengers must fill the self-declaration form attached here, which will need to be submitted at the airport, to be allowed to travel.

Quarantine Regulations
-Mandatory 7-day home quarantine for all passengers even if the test of the result conducted on arrival is negative
-If any passenger tests positive will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment.
Required Documents

Negative RT-PCR test report within 48 hours of journey will continue to be mandatory. Any passenger not carrying negative RT-PCR report will be sent back to origin on the same day. Hand-written notes are not acceptable.
Any passenger arriving without RT-PCR negative test report will be deported on the same flight.
Passengers shall not be allowed to pick up their checked-in baggage at the arrival hall. The same shall be handed over to them at the testing center
Other Guidelines
-Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
-All Incoming passengers arriving shall have to mandatory carry RT-PCR negative test report issued from a ICMR approved lab, subject to condition that RT-PCR test should have been taken within 48 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-In addition to being in possession of negative RT-PCR report, all arriving passengers shall mandatorily undergo RAT test upon arrival at designated testing centers located within 2Kms of the airport

Quarantine Regulations
-Mandatory 7-day home quarantine for all passengers even if the test of the result conducted on arrival is negative
-Exemption from Quarantine and on Arrival Tests
1. Residents of North Eastern States other them Assam who are arriving in any airport in Assam from outside the state and are directly travelling onwards to any other Norther Eastern States shall be exempted from on arrival testing provided they are able to produce proof of address in the North Eastern States and are asymptomatic
2. All Transit passengers of Intra Assam and Inter North Eastern States shall be exempted from on arrival testing provided they are able to produce proof of address in the North Eastern States and are asymptomatic
3. Government officials and those travelling due to medical reasons and family bereavement shall exempted from mandatory quarantine
-All passengers arriving into any airport in Assam shall mandatorily undergo RAT test upon arrival free of cost
-If the test result of the RAT test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition
-If the test result of the RAT test is negative, the passenger will have to undergo RT-PCR at the airport itself. The cost of the RT-PCR test (maximum INR 500) shall be borne by the passenger
-Passengers shall be allowed to leave the airport once the sample/swab for RT-PCR test has been collected and with the condition that he/she shall remain under home quarantine until the result is declared
-If the test result of the RT-PCR test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition
-If the test result of the RT-PCR test is negative, the passenger can continue his/her activities adhering to COVID-19 behavior and norms of the state

Quarantine Regulations
-Mandatory 10 days quarantine for passengers arriving Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab
-For GAYA only: Mandatory 10 days quarantine for passengers arriving Delhi & NCR, Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab.
Required Documents
-Passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala and Punjab will require RT-PCR negative report from ICMR accredited labs done within last 72hrs. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-Random RAT test will be free of cost at arrivals for passengers from other sectors.
-For GAYA only: Passengers arriving from Delhi & NCR, Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab must carry RT-PCR negative report from ICMR accredited labs. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Other Guidelines
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
-Carry RT-PCR negative report as per the guidelines mentioned above
Required Documents
-No quarantine
-It is mandatory for passengers arriving in to Chandigarh from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of vaccination certificate (at least one dose) over 2 weeks old. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time
-Passengers will have to submit the health declaration form upon arrival
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
-All passenger must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey
Quarantine Regulations
-7 days home quarantine for all passengers arriving into the state of Chhattisgarh
-Passengers having return tickets within 72 hours of arrival are exempted from quarantine rule.
Required Documents
-All passengers travelling to Chhattisgarh mandatorily need to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72Hrs. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time
-Following passenger categories are exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR test
1. Children below 12 years are exempted from RT-PCR test
Other Guidelines
-Health Profiling will be conducted upon arrivals
Required Documents
-All travellers must download the Aarogya Setu app.
-They must submit health and travel details on the Self-Declaration Form available on the state portal. Hotels can assist in this, if needed.
-All international travellers and domestic travellers from Maharashtra & Gujarat must carry a negative COVID-19 test report, conducted within 72 hours before their hotel check-in.
Other Guidelines
-All passengers would be required to undergo screening upon arrival.
-Passengers from Gujarat would be required to stay in a specified area at the airport and would be dropped off to the borders of the district. They would have to arrange for their transport from thereon. If required, they will be assisted by the district administration to contact the administration of their destination.
Specific Guidelines for Air Travel:
- It is advisable that all passengers web check-in before arriving at the airport. Physical check-in has been suspended at most airports across the country temporarily.
-Passengers arriving at the airport should always be wearing a mask.
-Passengers will be thermally screened before entering the airport.
-Passengers ought to time their entry into the airport 2 hours before departure (minimum). At most airports, the baggage drop off counters close about 60 minutes before departure.
-No meals will be served on board due to safety concerns.
-Only one check-in bag will be allowed.
-No newspapers or magazines will be provided on board any flight.
-The use of baggage trolleys will be minimised to ensure less number of touch point infections.
-Passengers are requested to check the travel advisories and guidelines issued by their respective airports (departure and arrival) before travel.
Hotel Guidelines:
Hotels are now open, except for the ones located in containment zones, which shall remain closed until further notice.
According to Government issued advisories, those above 65 years of age and those with co-morbidities are strongly advised to avoid travel and hotel stays.
Those staying in hotels always have to wear a face mask and practice social distancing .
Online advance booking is mandatory and must be done at least 2 days before the date of arrival. This will help the administration maintain a list of visitors arriving in every hotel.
Quarantine Regulations
-Any passenger from Maharashtra who arrives without a negative test report must home quarantine for 14 days.
-All domestic travellers (other than those from Maharashtra) must home quarantine for 7 days after arrival in Delhi.
-All arriving passengers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to Delhi by flight, train, bus and any other mode of transport must undergo mandatory government institutional quarantine for 14 days.
-Delhi residents who have been to the Kumbh Mela must mandatorily home quarantine for 14 days after their arrival in Delhi. They must also upload necessary details here.
-Exceptions to quarantine include:
1. Constitutional, government functionaries and their staff members do not have to undergo institutional quarantine. Though they must self-monitor their health for 14 days.
2.Travellers who have a negative RT-PCR report (not older than 72 hours) or a COVID vaccination certificate (two doses) can either home quarantine for 7 days or opt for paid quarantine.
3.This quarantine rule does not apply to anyone from Andhra/ Telangana who transits through Delhi NCT without disembarking from the vehicle.
4.Travellers travelling from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to other states through NCT of Delhi by air/train shall home quarantine for 14 days. This can be reduced to 7 days in case they produce a COVID negative certificate or COVID vaccination certificate (both doses).
Required Documents:
-Passengers from Maharashtra to Delhi must carry with them a negative RT-PCR test report done 72 hours before arrival.
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening will be done for all flight passengers upon arrival.
-It is mandatory to use face masks when out in public in Delhi (even if travelling solo or with people in a car).
-Must download and install the Aarogya Setu App.
-A total lockdown has been announced in Delhi till 24th May, 2021. People travelling from/to airports will be allowed to travel without any e-Pass as long as they can produce a valid ticket.
-The decision on whether to test or not will be based on whether the traveller is arriving from a state where the current COVID case load is very high.
-Random COVID testing is also being conducted on arrival for passengers arriving by trains and cabs.
Required Documents:
-Passengers travelling to Goa must carry a RT-PCR negative certificate (test not older than 72 hours) or full COVID vaccination certificate.
-Exemption from above travel requirement is available for the following provided they carry a proof:
1.Those who are residents of Goa.
2. Persons entering for work or medical emergencies.
Other Guidelines:
-It is mandatory to download the Aarogya Setu app before entering the state.

-It is mandatory to carry a facemask and maintain social/ physical distancing when in public areas.
-A lockdown has been imposed in Goa till 23rd May, 2021.
-The public transport will remain shut except for emergency purposes.
-State borders will remain open for essential services only.
Quarantine Regulations:
-All travellers returning from the Kumbh Mela in Uttarakhand must get themselves tested and quarantine at home for 14 days, if found positive.
Required Documents:
-Carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory if travelling to Surat. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-Passengers travelling to Ahmedabad are not required to carry a negative RT-PCR report
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
Other Guidelines:
-Special Guidelines for those travelling to Surat: Please check the latest guidelines issued by Surat Municipal Corporation.
-A night curfew has been announced in 36 cities across the state including Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Botad, Viramgam, Chhota Udaipur, Veraval, Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Junagarh, Gandhinagar from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily until 18th May, 2021.
-International and domestic passengers arriving in Surat must fill and submit the ‘Novel Corona Self-reporting Form’ online and download the ‘SMC COVID-19 Tracker’ app
Quarantine Regulations
-COVID Test is not required
-Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival

Quarantine Regulations
-14 days of Institutional Quarantine for passengers arriving from any Red Zone district outside of Himachal Pradesh or passengers having ILI (Influenza Like Illness) symptoms irrespective of the zone from where they are arriving.
-14 days of Home Quarantine for passengers arriving from any Red Zone district outside of Himachal Pradesh and are carrying COVID-19 negative test report from ICMR authorized lab which should not be older than 48 hours from the date of departure.
Required Documents
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
Other Guidelines
-Entry/Exit from State borders will be allowed only from 6 A.M. – 8P.M.
-COVID Test is not required
-Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival
Quarantine Regulations:
-Only if passengers are found to be positive after their RT-PCR test at the airport, they must home quarantine for 14 days and seek treatment if health worsens
Required Documents:
-Passenger is required to fill up ICMR Health form on arrival
-Passenger is required to undergo COVID-19 Test at the Airport, except:
1. Srinagar: for Defense Personnel
2. Jammu: for Defense Personnel arriving to join duty
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
Quarantine Regulations:
-Mandatory 7-day home quarantine for all passenger arriving into the state of Jharkhand.
-Following passenger categories are exempted from the mandatory 7 day home quarantine period:
1. Passengers who have a return journey within 72Hours from the arrival into the state of Jharkhand.
2. Airline Personnel
3. Passengers passing through the state during interstate movement.
4. Government of India officials on official duty
5. Passengers who undertake daily interstate travel for purpose of mining/industrial/agriculture/health care related activities.
Required Documents:
-It is mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Passengers arriving without negative RT-PCR report will be subject to RT-PCR test (free of cost) & fill up self-declaration form
Other Guidelines:
-All passengers are required to register on Government of Jharkhand websitejharkhandtravel.nic.in preferably before departure.
-Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers
Quarantine Regulations:
-All other asymptomatic passengers arriving at Karnataka shall self monitor their health for 14 days.
-All those returning from the Kumbh Mela in Uttarakhand must get themselves tested and quarantine at home for 14 days, even if test is negative
Required Documents:
-Download and update the Aarogya Setu app.
-A complete lockdown has been announced in Karnataka for 14 days starting from 6 a.m. on 10th May, 2021 to 6 a.m. on 24th May, 2021. Flights and trains will continue to operate as scheduled. Flight and train tickets can be used as passes for movement by anyone taking taxis/cab aggregators/ auto rickshaws to board flights and trains.
-Any other inter-state and intra-state movement of passenger vehicles can only happen in case of emergencies.
Other Guidelines:
-Download and update the Aarogya Setu app.
-A complete lockdown has been announced in Karnataka for 14 days starting from 6 a.m. on 10th May, 2021 to 6 a.m. on 24th May, 2021. Flights and trains will continue to operate as scheduled. Quarantine Regulations
-All passengers entering Kerala are required to undergo 14 days of home quarantine
-There will be no mandatory quarantine for those visiting Kerala on short term trips. They have to instead obtain an entry pass.
Required Documents
-Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
-All passengers must carry RT-PCR test issued within 72 hours prior to entering or must take one immediately after entering the state
-Must register on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ to obtain an e-pass.
-All passengers who intend to visit any other State or UT after entering Kerala must have an entry pass for Kerala and the State or UT they intend to visit
Other Guidelines
-A lockdown has been announced in the state till 23rd May, 2021
-Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers
-COVID test for symptomatic passengers.
Quarantine Regulations
-If passengers are not carrying negative RT-PCR report, then mandatory 7 days of home quarantine. COVID test may be conducted at the end of quarantine period.
-Passengers may have to be tested for COVID & if tested positive, passengers will be transferred to COVID facility for further processing.
-If test report is negative then the passengers shall be released from mandatory quarantine.
-Exception to mandatory quarantine: Personal of Defense & Central Armed Police are exempted from above provisions.
Required Documents
-Negative RT-PCR report on arrival (not earlier than 96 hours prior to arrival) is required for all passengers arriving into Leh. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-Passengers must provide valid contact and address details of their stay in Leh.
-They should also install Aarogya Setu app in their phones.
Other Guidelines
-Thermal screening will be done for all incoming and outgoing passengers as well as staff.
-Medical camps will be set up at the airport with ambulances on standby.
-Mandatory Rapid Antigen Test will be performed on all incoming passengers. If found positive, they will be sent for institutional quarantine from the airport.

-Passengers must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report obtained 48 hours before travelling to the island.

-For passengers arriving in Indore:
1. Passengers arriving from Maharashtra to Indore must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report, conducted within 48 hours before arrival.
2. Those travelling without a report must take a test (self-paid) on arrival at the airport.
3. All passengers are required to download the Indore 311 App & do a self-registration before arrival
-Passengers arriving from Maharashtra to Bhopal must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report, conducted within 72 hours before arrival. Those travelling without a negative test report must take a test on arrival at the airport and self-isolate till the results are available
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers
Quarantine Regulations
-No quarantine & hand stamping for asymptomatic passenger
-Symptomatic passengers shall be sent to the nearest COVID care center
Required Documents:
-Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
-Fill a contact tracing form on arrival
-All passengers travelling to Maharashtra by any mode of transport must carry a negative RT-PCR test certificate with them issued within 48 hours before arrival in the state.
-Anyone not carrying a report will have to undergo an RT-PCR test on arrival at their own expense.
Other Guidelines:
-Multiple restrictions are in force in the state of Maharashtra due to partial lockdown till 7 a.m. on 1st June, 2021. Airline operations will remain unaffected.
-Public transport services remain unaffected as they are part of essential services. Persons arriving or departing by any bus/ train/ flight from or towards their place of residence will be allowed to travel as long as they have a valid ticket. -Mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT/RAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time
-Passengers of Manipur origin who have to undertake travel in an emergency situation shall be exempted from being in possession of COIVD-19 negative report at the time of entry as a special case and will have to undergo testing upon arrival. This shall only allowed with prior information of such emergency travel being communicated to Covid Control Room helpline number 1800-345-3818 for necessary arrangements to be made
Other Guidelines:
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
-Carry RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT negative report as per the guidelines mentioned in Health Screening section above
Quarantine Regulations:
-If tested positive, passengers will be transferred to COVID facility for further processing.
-Passengers who have undergone testing upon arrival shall remain under home or institutional quarantine till the result is declared
Required Documents:
-All Passengers arriving from all states are mandatorily required to carry RT-PCR negative report from ICMR accredited labs within 48 hours of departure. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. If not in possession of the same the passengers shall be denied boarded at the origin
-All Passengers shall also undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival at their own cost with the following exceptions
1. Passengers arriving from any state except Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Karnataka and Kerala shall be exempted if in possession of valid final certificate of vaccination
2.Passenger having day return journey shall also undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival
Other Guidelines:
Quarantine Regulations:
-All passengers shall be required to undergo mandatory 10 day home or institutional quarantine even if Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival is negative.
-Passenger will undergo RT-PCR/TrueNAT test after completion of the 10 day quarantine period
-Passengers visiting the state for a short period, i.e., upto 96Hrs shall not be required to self-isolate if they are able to produce a RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 hours and valid return ticket. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.

-All passengers must obtain m-Pass from mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in or mCovid19 App
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
-All passengers with or without negative COVID report will be subjected mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival.
Quarantine Regulations:
Required Documents:
-All passengers travelling to Nagaland mandatorily need to be in possession of RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT negative report not earlier than 72 hours or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. If not in possession of the above the passengers shall be denied boarding at the origin station
-Passengers who are residents of Nagaland can travel to the state without RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT negative report with the below mentioned conditions
1. Shall mandatorily undergo RAT test upon arrival at their own cost
2. If the test result of the RAT test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition
3. If the test result of the RAT test is negative, the passenger will have to undergo RT-PCR at the airport itself. The cost of the RT-PCR test shall be borne by the passenger themselves
-Passengers who residents of any of the North Eastern States other than Nagaland and are transiting and directly travelling onwards to any other North Eastern State shall also be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT negative report not earlier than 72 hours or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination). Such passengers should also satisfy arrival guidelines of their final destination
Other Guidelines:
-All passengers must download and register Aarogya Setu App
-All passengers must download and register on nCOVID Nagaland Visitors App
-All passengers must submit self-declaration for home quarantine through nCOVID Nagaland Visitors App/ online at covid-19nagaland.gov.in/ by whatsapp to helpline No 7630877991
Quarantine Guidelines:
-Passengers arriving from West Bengal shall undergo mandatory 14 days home/institutional quarantine
-Passengers arriving from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana shall undergo mandatory 7 days home quarantine

-All passengers travelling to Odisha mandatorily need to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 hours or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. If not in possession of the above the passengers shall be denied boarding at the origin station
-All passengers originating from West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana mandatorily need to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 48 hours or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening will be done for all passengers
-All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App
Required Documents:
-It is mandatory for passengers arriving in the state of Punjab from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of vaccination certificate (at least one dose) over 2 weeks old. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-Before boarding, passenger to register on COVA Punjab app, the registration will be checked for each passenger.
-All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.
Other Guidelines:
-COVID-19 test shall be performed on random basis
-Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers
Quarantine Regulations:
-Government Officials holding constitutional positions and medical support team shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR however shall have to undergo 15days home quarantine upon arrival into the state
-Those arriving without a test must quarantine for 15 days, at their own expense
-Symptomatic passengers shall be isolated and taken to nearest health facility
Required Documents:
-It is MANDATORY for passengers arriving from other states to carry a COVID negative report from an ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours of arrival into the state of Rajasthan. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time
-All passengers must download Aarogya setu App
-All passengers must submit Self-Health Declaration and go through screening process.
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers
-COVID test shall be done for all symptomatic passengers
-Passengers travelling to Udaipur are mandatorily required to upload a copy of their RT-PCR negative report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in
-A complete lockdown has been announced in Rajasthan from 5 a.m. on 10th May, 2021 to 5 a.m. on 24th May, 2021.
-Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to enter the state. Both private and public transport will be permitted.
-Intra-state travel between districts, cities and villages will be completely banned
Quarantine Regulations:
-Passengers travelling without the test report have to undergo mandatory 10 days paid quarantine
Required Documents:
-All tourists entering Sikkim must carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNat test certificate with them (conducted within 48 hours of travel).
-If any tourist arrives without a test, then hotel/ homestay owners have been directed by the government to ensure that they are able to get one done at the nearest COVID testing centres at specified testing locations in the state
Other Guidelines:
-Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers
-Tourists are required to fill in all details in the forms available under the tab for tourists on the Tourism Portal https://sikkimtourism.gov.in.
-A Travel card can be downloaded after filling all the sections and entering relevant details and must be shown at the entry point at Rangpo/Melli.
-Tourists must carry this card with them and update it daily wherever they go as they may be asked to produce it for verification.
Quarantine Regulations:
-07 days of Home Quarantine & 07 days of self monitoring for all passengers arriving into Tamil Nadu from Maharashtra & Kerala.
-14 days of self monitoring for all passengers arriving into Tamil Nadu from other states/UT.
-Business travelers coming to Tamil Nadu for short stay (less than 72 hours) are exempted from home quarantine. Not applicable for passengers arriving into CJB.
-Symptomatic passengers will be required to go for Institutional Quarantine till the time COVID test results are available, at the discretion of Health Officials. Post which they will be required to complete remaining period of Home Quarantine.
-Passengers who undergo RT-PCR test on arrival and are:
1. Found to be positive and symptomatic – will be taken to hospital isolation.
2. Found to be negative and asymptomatic – will have to undergo for self-monitoring for 14 days.
3. Found to be negative and symptomatic – will be taken to hospital isolation and decided based on Medical Opinion.
Required Documents:
-No COVID Testing for passengers arriving from other airports in Tamil Nadu, other states & UTs.
-COVID Testing will be done to only symptomatic persons coming from Maharashtra & Kerala.
-It is mandatory for all passengers arriving in CJB to have Auto E-Pass & also carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. The same is not applicable for passengers arriving from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Puducherry)
-In case the passenger arrives without RT-PCR report, COVID testing shall be done free of cost at the airport and the passengers shall be released after sample is taken. Further action will be taken basis the test result.
-It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to Tamil Nadu to register on state website and apply for TN e-pass: https://tnepass.tnega.org/
-All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App

-Bangladesh Passport holders intending to enter Bangladesh can do so via Akhaura check-post. S/he will be transported to Akhaura check-post in special transport on payment basis

Quarantine Regulations:
-Those travelling without COVID negative report must undergo 14 days paid quarantine at their own cost.
-Domestic passengers must undergo 14 days of home quarantine.
-Short visit travellers returning to the state within 5 days, please note:
1. Asymptomatic travellers need not quarantine.
2. Symptomatic travellers must undergo COVID tests and then proceed for home quarantine.
-Travellers returning to the state after 5 days must home quarantine for 14 days.
-Passengers exiting Uttar Pradesh within 7 days of arrival shall be exempted from mandatory quarantine subject to validation of return/onward travel
Required Documents:
-For all UP airports: Arriving passengers from Kerala and Maharashtra must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report (conducted within 72 hours before arrival). Random Rapid Antigen Test is being conducted for all passengers on arrival at the airport.
-Special guidelines for Lucknow airport: Passengers arriving from all states must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report (conducted within 72 hours before arrival) or take a test on arrival. On-arrival RT-PCR test costs Rs. 900 per passenger whereas the Rapid Antigen Test is free of cost. Children below the age of 10 years do not have to carry COVID negative report.
-Special guidelines for Varanasi airport: Any passenger arriving in Varanasi without a proper test report must take a Rapid Antigen Test (free of cost) on arrival. However, if the passenger has no test report and is also showing symptoms of COVID during thermal screening, they will have to undergo an RT-PCR test (free of cost) at the airport. Infants (0-2 years) are exempted from COVID testing.
-Download and install the Aarogya Setu app.
-All flight passengers must register themselves on the government portal.
Other Guidelines:
-A complete lockdown has been enforced till 7 a.m. on 24th May, 2021. People travelling to/from the railway stations, bus stations and airports will be able to travel as long as they can produce a valid ticket
Quarantine Regulations:
-There is no quarantine for travelers coming to Uttarakhand with a stay of less than 7 days. Visitors will have to provide residence/stay addresses to authorities.
-Visitors coming for more than 7 days must home quarantine for 10 days.
-Army and paramilitary personnel are required to undergo 10 days of institutional quarantine.
-Government officials from state and center, Judges of Supreme and High court and other judicial officers, MP’s and MLAs of Uttarakhand and support staff are exempted from quarantine.
Required Documents:
-Prior to their travel, all visitors to the state are required to register themselves on the Smart City web portal: http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in/. Registration documents will be verified at the border check posts.
-All visitors must download the Arogya Setu app and update their medical information on it.
-Passengers must carry an RT-PCR negative test report from ICMR accredited labs, conducted within 72 hours before departure. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
-An on-arrival COVID test will be done (free of cost) for passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi & Rajasthan.
-If on-arrival test is positive, they must proceed to a quarantine center for further treatment.

-Passengers above 65 years of age or with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years are advised to travel only in unavoidable circumstances
