With the Business Rewards+ feature, small and medium enterprises can now be enrolled into the InterMiles programme and have a company level InterMiles account where both the company and employees can enjoy the benefits of the programme. Currently, creating Business Rewards+ account is possible by subscribing to the corporate co-brand credit cards offered by our banking partners – American Express and ICICI Bank. The Miles Split Ratio Module is the ratio offered by the banking partner in which the InterMiles earned by the employees through eligible spends on the Corporate Co-brand Credit Card will be split between the business and its carded employees.
Employees earn InterMiles in their individual InterMiles membership account as per the Terms and Conditions of the InterMiles programme. These InterMiles will not be split between the business and employees unless otherwise specified.
InterMiles can be redeemed from the business account ONLY by the Administrator by logging into the online business account. The Administrator can redeem only those InterMiles which have accrued to the business account and not the InterMiles accrued by the employees individually.
InterMiles can be redeemed by the business for benefits offered by the InterMiles programme and as per the relevant terms.
The employees (individual members) can redeem InterMiles available in their individual membership account for benefits offered by the InterMiles programme and as per the relevant InterMiles Terms and Conditions.
The business can update the details in the business account. Changes to the Name of the Business, Address, Primary Contact, Administrator, Telephone number, Business Type and Carded Employees will have to be routed through the banking partner. Linking and delinking of non-carded employees can be done by the Administrator through the logged in area of the online business account.
The business can deactivate the Business Rewards+ account by approaching the banking partner to terminate its Business Rewards+ membership. Once notified by the banking partner, InterMiles will deactivate the business’ account from Business Rewards+.
Upon deactivation of the business account:
The Administrator and employees will be delinked from the business account (their individual InterMiles membership accounts will continue to exist)
Administrator rights to the online business account will be deactivated
E-mails regarding deactivation will be sent to Primary Contact Administrator Employees
All available InterMiles accrued in the business account will be auto-transferred to the Primary Contact’s InterMiles membership account
InterMiles earned for eligible flights prior to deactivation will be considered for crediting in to the business account
InterMiles earned on bookings post deactivation will not be considered for crediting into the business account
