The Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport is only a 15-20 minutes drive to and from the city. By Rail

By Air

Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai is the nearest airport to Nashik. The flight connectivity from Mumbai is pretty good through all domestic routes and international routes. After landing in Mumbai, you'll have to take a taxi or hire a car or take the t rain to Nashik. You'll get pretty good flight deals online and if you're lucky, cheap flight tickets, too. Book flight tickets from any metropolitan or small city to Mumbai, the frequency is quite good. Since there are no direct flights to Nashik, especially international ones, Mumbai is the best pitstop. The Indian Armed Forces is currently using the Nashik airport for tests and trials. It is also used as a Customs airport.

By Rail

Nashik has its railway station and the frequency of trains that run to and from Mumbai are quite high. Pick a favourable time and your budget and book a train. You'll also get buses and rickshaws outside Nashik station that will drop you to your hotel rooms.

By Road

Plan a road trip from Mumbai, Pune, Shirdi or Aurangabad to Nashik, and it might not be that bad an idea. Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport serves as an international airport for Punjab and is located in the city of Amritsar. The airport is 11 km away from the city centre. The Amritsar Airport has been named after the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das. The Sikh Guru is believed to be the founder of the Amritsar city. Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport is known to be the busiest airport in Punjab. The airport is also being acknowledged as a fastest-growing venture in India and is ranked as the sixth-best regional airport in the country as well as Central Asia. The airport, previously known as Amritsar Rajasansi Airport's Airstrip was established to cater to the British in the 1930s. It was specifically used for VVIP movements. The flight was chartered to Kabul in Afghanistan. An integrated terminal building has been built to accommodate passenger traffic. The terminal has been constructed with steel and glass and is perfectly equipped with world-class facilities such as inline X-ray baggage, conveyor system and various other amenities. Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport is perfectly connected to the National Highway 354. This route connects Amritsar and Ajnala.
