The Bangalore Airport is owned and operated by Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL), which is a public limited company. The consortium is co-owned by private and public ventures where the Karnataka State Industrial Investment and Development Corporation (government entity) owns 13 per cent. Vayudoot operated services from 1982 to 1995. Later in 2004, Air Deccan started flight operations between Dehradun and New Delhi.
