By Air

Flight connectivity to Vidyanagar is non-existent as the educational city does not have a dedicated airport. However, for people who want to travel to the town, the nearest airports are in Vadodara and Ahmedabad. In fact, for flight connectivity to Vidyanagar, you should opt for Vadodara as the city with its international airport has more flights flying in from various metro cities in India. The green airport has good connectivity that will benefit you, if Vidyanagar is your destination. In fact, Vadodara is your best bet to reach Vidyanagar by flight. There are airport shuttle services that you can opt for to reach the knowledge city after getting down at Vadodara airport.

By Rail

Vallabh Vidyanagar does not have a dedicated railway station as well. Travelling to the city means to go through several modes of transport. Just like how you will have to land in Vadodara to hire a rental and reach Vidyanagar, you'll have to do the same for trains as well. The closest domestic rail route connecting Vidyanagar to other cities is Anand Junction in the Anand district. From the railway station, there are transport services that will reach you to Vallabh Vidyanagar. Anand Junction is only 8 km away from the main city, making transport a tad bit easier.

By Road

The only ideal mode of transport to choose to travel to Vallabh Vidyanagar is via road. The domestic routes to Vidyanagar are perfectly connected via roads. Major cities within Gujarat such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, to name a few, have dedicated buses travelling to and from Vidyanagar. Inter-state buses are also available. However, once again, they do not enter the city as it doesn't fall in the route that they take. You will have to change your mode of transport depending on which bus you are travelling from and which route the bus has taken.
