Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport or popularly referred to as Indore Airport is the principal international airport that caters to the city of Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport was once well-connected to the main Kolkata Suburban Railway system. However, with the state's plan to work on a metro line that connects the airport to the railway, the station has been shut for construction.
