About Kanpur
Kanpur, nestled on the banks of river Ganga, is one of the biggest cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The city is not only known as the industrial capital of the state, but it also has historical and mythological importance. By Air
Kanpur is connected really well to all major cities by road, rail and air, since it is one of the important cities of Uttar Pradesh. Even though the city has its own airport, the flight connectivity from Kanpur airport is quite limited. It only connects flights to Delhi from Kanpur. To get to the other cities by air, you will have to head to the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. If you are travelling off-season, you might get cheap flight tickets.
