Visit Jagannath Temple in Puri
Built-in the 12th century during the Ganga Dynasty, Jagannath Temple is the host of the famous Rath Yatra. The temple houses several deities of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. Orissa is equipped with many airports, however, Biju Patnaik International Airport which is located 6 km from the centre of the capital city, Bhubaneswar, is the primary one. By Railways
Orissa is well connected to major cities of the country. The main station in Orissa is the one in Bhubaneswar which can be accessed by Rajdhani Express, Coromandel Express, and Konark Express. Several other super express trains run from Bhubaneswar; connecting it to Mumbai, Delhi, Tirupati, Chennai, Guwahati and many others. Tourists can get cabs or buses outside the railway station which will take them to their hotels in Bhubaneswar.
By Road
The state is connected by major cities of the country through an extensive network of national and state highways.
