Passengers travelling by Indigo airlines can select seats online and take a print out of the boarding pass. From 48 hours before the scheduled take-off time to 2 hours before, the passenger can check in online. This will let the passenger choose their preferred seat and walk into the airport ready with their boarding pass. You can print the same at one of the Kiosks at the airport. However, this facility cannot be availed by passengers travelling on wheelchairs and by unaccompanied minors.

One of the most travelled domestic airlines, Air India, also offers the facility of web check in. Visit the website and find the ‘Manage Your Trip’ section to complete the process. You will need your booking ID and travel details to check in. Apart from its website, the check in facility is also available in the Air India Mobile App. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, check in for the flights, choose the seat and check the time-table information. Once you have checked in, you can proceed to the departure gate with your handbags. For those having luggage that needs to be checked in, you will have to visit the luggage counter.

Go First's online web check in opens 72 hours prior to the flight departure and goes on till 2 hours before the takeoff. Complete online web check in within a few minutes on Go Frist's official website. Click on the ‘Web check in’ tab on the Home page to access the check in facility. Fill in the details like your name and PNR/Booking Reference number, and click on the ‘Begin check in’ button. In the next step, select the seat of your choice, depending on its availability. You can also choose from other services, such as GoXtras, Travel Protect, and Smart Cafe and complete the process. Download or print your e-boarding pass or get it on your email. Once online web check in is done, it won’t take you much time at the airport before you board your flight. However, you must still report to the airport around 45-60 minutes before the departure.

Spice jet offers the web check in service, allowing passengers to check in from the comfort of their homes. All the travellers have to check in at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure. To avail web check in facility, you will have to visit the official website of Spicejet Airways. Under the web check in section, enter your confirmation number or PNR number, followed by the email ID. After this, you will be guided through the seat map from where you can select the desired seats. Add baggage details and confirm the process. You can now print your e-boarding pass and bag tags. Spicejet mobile app can also be used for completing this procedure.

Web check in of Vistara opens 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure and closes 60 minutes before. Visit their website, click on the ‘check in’ tab and complete the process with just a few clicks. After this, you will receive your e-boarding pass via email. Carry a printout or soft copy of the boarding pass and avoid long queues at the counters. Vistara only allows nine people on the same booking. So, if you have more friends and family travelling with you, both the booking and the domestic airlines web check in should be done separately. Additionally, passengers should know that unaccompanied minors, people with a visual and hearing impairment, and passengers with requests like stretchers or extra seats cannot avail of the flight web check in facility.

With the AirAsia web check in facility, passengers can check in 14 days prior to the scheduled departure of the flights. The web check option stays open 60 minutes before the departure. Visit the official website of AirAsia to initiate the web check in. Tap on the ‘Check-in’ option. Next, enter your PNR or Booking Reference number followed by your last name, mobile number or email ID. Click on the ‘Check in’ button to complete the process. You will be issued with a boarding pass. Take a printout or you can get a print out at the airport. Note that the web check in option is not available for passengers with special needs, passengers travelling with infants 8 days old or less and children aged between 12 to 16 years who are travelling alone.

Passengers with confirmed bookings can avail the webs check in facility of TruJet. The airline offers this facility from 48 hours to 2 hours before the flight is scheduled for departure. For the web check in, you will have to visit the official website of the airline and click on the ‘WEB CHECK IN’ option. A pop up will appear on the screen with a travel advisory. Read it carefully and click on ‘ok’. On the next page enter the required information and click on ‘I agree’. It will take you to the web check in page. On the page, select between PNR or E-Ticket Number. Enter the respective number, your first name and last number. Click on ‘Check-in’ and the process is complete. You will receive a soft copy of your boarding pass. Take a print out and show it at the airport counter.
