Purchase of the Airbus was quite brief as the airline went back to its Boeing way and further ordered more Boeing jets. Eventually, Boeing and Royal Air Maroc's Board of Directors got together to sign a memorandum of understanding where the latter agreed to purchase a big amount of the Boeing 787s in 2005. In the same year, the airline placed an order to acquire five Dreamliners from the aircraft manufacturer. In 2014, Royal Air Maroc received its first Dreamliner. In 2011, Royal Air Maroc also played the launch customer to ATR 72-600 when it acquired a delivery of two of the said aircraft for their subsidiary Royal Air Maroc Express' fleet. In 2018, Royal Air Maroc also received its delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX along with Boeing 787-9.
