In 2010, Lufthansa acquired its first Airbus A380 which would be named Frankfurt am Main and Munchen, both named after Lufthansa's two important hubs. Subsequently, other Airbus A380 aircrafts acquired by Lufthansa Group were named after some of the other hub airports such as Zurich, Brussels, Wien and Dusseldorf.
