~New addition to co-brand card benefits, enabling members to earn assured InterMiles as they make their monthly rent payments~

Mumbai, Nov 26, 2020: InterMiles, the leading loyalty & rewards programme, today announced their partnership with financial & real estate tech company, RedGirraffe to provide their members with more InterMiles earning opportunities. This association will offer InterMiles’ co-brand credit card members an additional avenue for earning InterMiles, their digital rewards currency as well, while benefiting from the value and convenience of paying their home rent online using credit cards as a payment option. 

The lockdown disruption has prompted new consumer habits and behaviors resulting in heightened adoption of digital payment platforms for daily utility needs. Towards making InterMiles earning an everyday habit, the programme recently launched InterMiles Everyday which offers a growing bouquet of earning opportunities across multiple essential services, utility payments and lifestyle needs. Since its introduction in July 2020, InterMiles Everyday has witnessed an encouraging response from members given its convenience, time saving and value driven proposition. This has inspired InterMiles to partner with RedGirraffe to add ‘home rental payments’ as a benefit for its co-brand credit card members.

The partnership with RentPay from RedGiraffe will enable InterMiles Cobrand cardholders to earn accelerated miles on their monthly rent payments. In addition, members stand to benefit from improved credit scores and some additional interest earning on cash balances retained in bank when they use credit card to pay rent instead. To make it easier for the members, InterMiles is offering an exclusive limited period (6 months) waiver on the transaction charges payable otherwise on RentPay. Members can also benefit from RedGiraffes exclusive insurances (loss of job, personal accident etc.) and a host of value-adds.

In order to make their home rent payments via RedGirraffe, InterMiles members will have to simply create an account on the RedGirraffe platform and upload their rental agreement and supporting documents. InterMiles currently offers co-brand credit cards along with partner banks HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Induslnd bank.
